If idea is a system which allows social circle to have a day of the links found and judged to be of interest, why not share it? That is what we have thought since Neuromentes who have contacted us to inform us of the launch of its project Linkchemy.
With Linkchemy, users can send and receive links to topics that most interest us. Just find communities related to our interests, or create them ourselves, so that all members can share links to topics that most interest us.
Once within each community, users can send links, and even leave our own opinions about them. But in addition, we can define for each community if we receive the same links, depending on the configuration of our own, either receiving daily or weekly, or to indicate that community do not want to receive links.
Alike, can interact via the messaging systems based on Jabber, as GTalk, where we can send and receive links, and also make our views on them in the communities in which we participate. Once we added the bot and introduced chain validation, since it already will give us the necessary instructions.
Without doubt, an interesting idea that the broad manner in which we share the links on the Internet, but might miss a bookmarklet for each community, which would further facilitate sharing links.
Thanks to the team Neuromentes by the notice.

There are at least one feature of Mac OS that nothing has changed in its concept from virtually the birth of Apple's operating system. The clipboard. Since the beginning of the System 6 clipboard has been arguably one of the first features that Mac users have learned to use, and come to appreciate a moment to rely on it as if it were the same system. However, since those years System 6 Apple has not wanted, has been unable or has been unable to improve the implementation of this feature.
Over the years, Apple has improved the Clipboard exclusively in its format as a container. For Texas plane to spend the ability to copy and paste rich text, images, audio, video .... the range of possibilities offered on the Clipboard formats is very broad and all programs (or almost all) the work permit. However, Apple has not improved this key feature of the operating system despite the years and the already pressing need to reinvent.
The developers, of course, have been taking advantage of this shortcoming of the system and throughout all these years have been creating programs that simulate the use of the clipboard in different forms, but always emphasizing the greatest weakness of the same: there is only 1 clipboard . Of course, developers have created programs that are able to "save" many clipboard.
So who needs a clipboard Pro indefeciblemente must purchase a third-party software in order to have several clipboard. The problem with this, of course, is dependent on a third developer in a key feature of the system: what if Apple releases an update and software stops working? What to do. The same goes for jumps between operating systems. You can even happen that the developer found that their software not paid as it should and leave, either for economic reasons or neglect program (unfortunately this is more common than it seems), with the obvious harm to the user.
Well, then, What do we want to Clipboard Pro?
The first is the inclusion in Snow Leopard. It is high time to abandon the old concept of clipboard and suffered an evolution.
The first key feature is multiple clipboards. With 1 alone is not enough: we need more. It does not require excessive complication keep shortcuts to the clipboard first level (C command, Command V), but for multiple clipboard would be necessary to add a further key "command".
Command Option C (or V) should open a context menu or a screen similar to those shown QuickLook to the contents of different clipboard. Using the number keys or the scroll arrows could decide which one to use.
The second key feature would include the options of "do and undo" to the clipboard. How many times has copied something to give you realize that you copied above a figure which incidentally is essential and complicated - or impossible-to recover?. A management of this type would offer many advantages besides providing security to the user not to lose data.
And speaking of losing data ... such that the persistent clipboard?. If you turn off your computer when it re-ignite your clipboard will be there, ready to be used with your final selection.
Another essential feature relatively should be the purge of the clipboard. Sometimes users need to copy a large volume of data, and to copy it, these data occupy a RAM that is never enough. to free RAM that we return to "copy" something small to purge such hoarding RAM for data copied. Perhaps users of large machines have no such problems, but users of smaller machines, with limited yields could "worship" the possibility of "hitting and purge."
Share clipboard network would be another good feature that could be included in Pro Clipboard. Using Bonjour technology, implemented throughout the operating system, it would send receive simple clipboard. Maybe someone just does not find this feature especially attractive, but the working groups dumps on the same project found extremely useful. Why having to save a file with the rich content of our work when the clipboard is able to "pass" directly to another computer without the need to save a file-connected-to-a-network-file transfer and forcing the user Destination specific program to open the document for "copy and paste it elsewhere?. The current process is a huge waste of time and I am sure that Apple could greatly improve the user experience in working with a group characteristic as well.
Obviously, in an environment of shared clipboard security is one of the details to be taken into account, but Pro Clipboard could have a number of slots "private" and other slots that require the administrator password of the machine in order to access them.
Summing
While in Cupertino actively engaged in the search for breakthrough novel features and other devices of various ranges (iPods, iPhone, etc.), should look a little navel and accept that Mac OS X, which is its backbone product for all of them, not only Certain modifications need to become "truth" in an operating system of the future but it must also obtain a significant technological advantage against the ubiquitous Windows, drawing upon their hours casualties.
Moreover, Clipboard Pro Clipboard 2 or iContainer, as we call it does, is a feature that users need beyond the current state of software. And of course, these new features I'd like to see are not the only means any idea that you can let it happen in the comments.
