Reuters - Toronto (Reuters) - The industrial origin Czech Thomas Bata, who led the footwear empire that bears his name from the decade of 1940 to that of 1980, died in Toronto for 93 years, the group reported on Monday means Canadian Broadcasting Corp. (CBC).
